WORDS COMBINED WITH NATURE
I took this photograph of the beautiful fall leaves in Georgia during a hike this week. For now, I am grateful to live in a house with a stunning natural landscape. The backyard slopes down to a small community lake. You can see the top portion of the trees that line the lake from our first floor, and watching the leaves slowly and patiently change colors over the last two months has been a daily treat.
The leaves gradually started falling. Their descent is constant at times and reminds me of snowflakes falling from the sky.
WORKING WITH THE RHYTHM OF THE SEASONS
During autumn, if we are attuned to the season's energies, they can assist us in cleansing and purifying our lives, homes, bodies, minds, and spirits. As the trees show us, it is a time for patiently shedding the old to prepare for the new. The energies support a shift toward planning for the next year or sowing next year's harvest; they also help balance the physical and spiritual as we slow down and move toward winter.
COLOR MAGIC, BROWN
Brown is the most common color found in nature. As the leaves change from green to a myriad of colors and then eventually brown, it is a reminder to stay grounded and be mindful of how we use our resources. Brown also enhances all other colors around it, helping fall feel even more radiant.
